Flight of the Cuckoo

"Is it better to dance or to die. Is it better to run or to lie?"

A spin on the story of Swan Lake, from the unique perspective of a Black Swan cursed to hunger for all that is not meant for her. Play as Odile, a changeling sister of Rothbart, and experience her conflict of self in the midst of this classic ballet fairytale.

A tale of brood parasitism.

One must wonder, when the cuckoo hatches, does it see the face of its mother, or the face of its prey? Do its flailing legs act out of muscle memory, pushing its "siblings" to their deaths in a fit of restless sleep?

Does the chick take simply to take, or take out of fear that it will be given nothing otherwise? Is its hunger so all-encompassing?

Knowledge. Fear. Action.

Hunger.

Perhaps that is what makes a cuckoo.
