Postjam Update!! FotC : Ugly Duckling Edition
OMG 11th OVERALL??? THAT'S INSANE.
I still can't believe I managed to place top 10 in the areas I usually focus on, and I'm even more fired up to work on areas that I avoid like the plague (*cough*sound*cough*)! I'll save the poetic waxing for a postmortem post but it really is surreal to see this little venture get so far... I'm just so grateful--thank you to everyone that voted and supported me, and congratulations to all the winners!! :O
Oh yeah, this isn't the end.
As is the usual game jam cycle practice, I went in with ideas larger than I had time to implement (I hope no one thought I'd earnestly ricochet them from seeing Odette for the first time to the story's climax/smash ends and have that be the intended flow LOL).
Right now, I'm in the process of planning a little final version grind with a lot more quantity and quality of work. However, for now, say hello to the 'Ugly Duckling' edition of Flight of the Cuckoo!!! It's a slightly more polished version of the original jam submission using assets I didn't have time to export and some other coding tinkering. Hopefully this can tithe any newcomers over until I can release a much more realized and longer version of the game (Including a WHOLE OTHER ACT???).
May this also serve as a remembrance of the og. I'll see you soon. :3
